Privacy Policy
Last updated: 15 August 2026
1. Scope
This privacy notice applies to your use of the Medi In India website at https://mediinindia.com and its enquiry and planning-tools features. Medi In India is a medical-tourism facilitator and intermediary, not a hospital or clinical provider.
2. Information You Provide
When you submit an enquiry through our contact form, we collect the following fields:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number (optional)
- Country (optional)
- Procedure of interest (optional)
- Message
You should not submit medical records, diagnostic reports, or other sensitive health information through the general enquiry form. If such information is needed, it will be requested through a separate, secure channel at the appropriate stage.
3. How We Use Information
Enquiry information is used for:
- Responding to your enquiry and coordinating your requested information or consultation pathways.
- Maintaining website security and preventing abuse.
- Operating the website and improving its functionality.
We do not use your information for automated profiling or marketing purposes beyond responding to your enquiry.
4. Contact-Form Provider
Form submissions are processed using Formspree, a third-party service. Formspree receives only the fields listed above and acts as a delivery mechanism to forward your enquiry to us. Formspree is an independent service and its own terms and privacy information may apply. We recommend reviewing the provider’s current terms directly.
5. BMI Calculator
The BMI calculator on our website performs all calculations entirely in your browser. Based on the current implementation, BMI measurements are not submitted through the contact form, sent to any server operated by Medi In India, or stored by us. BMI is an informational metric and does not constitute a medical diagnosis.
6. Cookies and Browser Storage
The site uses browser local storage for a theme preference (light/dark mode), an analytics consent preference, and an announcement-banner dismissal state. These are functional settings that do not identify you personally.
We use Google Analytics 4 only after you choose to accept analytics. It helps us understand website traffic and how visitors use the site. If you reject analytics, Google Analytics is not loaded by this website. You can change your analytics preference using the Cookie Settings control. Analytics may use cookies or similar browser technologies after consent. Only non-sensitive usage data is collected. For information about Google’s own processing practices, please consult Google’s privacy documentation.
7. Sharing
Medi In India does not sell, rent, or trade personal information. Information may be processed by providers needed to operate the website and requested services. This currently includes Formspree for enquiry delivery and Google Analytics 4 only after analytics consent. Information may also be disclosed where required by applicable law. Providers and configurations will be reviewed according to applicable privacy, security, and data-handling requirements.
8. Retention
Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and for applicable operational, security, legal, or policy requirements. Analytics data, enquiry information, and any health-related information voluntarily submitted may be subject to different handling and retention requirements. These are reviewed according to the nature of the information and applicable policies and law.
BMI measurements remain browser-local under the current implementation and are not sent to or stored by us. Users should not submit medical records or unnecessary sensitive health information through the general enquiry form.
9. Your Choices and Contact
If you have questions about this notice or wish to request information about data we may hold relating to your enquiry, you may contact us at arshalan@mediinindia.com.
Statutory data-protection rights, such as access, correction, or deletion, may vary depending on your location and the applicable law. We recommend consulting a qualified legal professional in your jurisdiction for specific guidance.
10. Children
The services offered through this website are designed for adults seeking or arranging medical-tourism facilitation. The service is not intended for children to submit enquiries independently.
11. Changes to This Notice
This privacy notice may be updated from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision.
